Hillsborough Wills & Trusts Open House and Ribbon Cutting

Many friends and well wishers gathered at 1000 Corporate Drive, Suite 109 for the Hillsborough Wills & Trusts Ribbon Cutting and Open House on September 19th. As Hillsborough Mayor Pro Tem Jenn Weaver explained to the crowd, “It is always an exciting day in Hillsborough when we have another ribbon to cut. It means we have another business opening. And we’re just so thrilled to have Hillsborough Wills & Trusts here!”

Kim Tesoro, CEO for the Orange Chamber of Commerce led the ceremony accompanied by OCC Board members Rick Chambless of First National Bank and Tom Struckmeyer of Edward Jones Investments. Commissioners Kathleen Ferguson and Mark Bell were also there to support the event and enjoy the festivities as a huge, bright yellow ribbon was cut in honor of the day.

Harp music by local harpist Katia Twiss, delicious hors d’oeuvres from Weaver Street, and two raffle prizes finished off the afternoon with flair and fun. Attorney Colin Austin was able to keep his comments to one minute— the story of his Grandfather Jack Austin’s furniture business in Long Island, CA and his father’s experience growing up working in a family business. Thanks to friends and supporters from the community that are helping this valuable family business to flourish and to provide valuable services.
